thequest family,

I had the opportunity to be with 350+ church planters and house church leaders at the "Organic Church Movements Conference." It was awesome. I don't have time to write anything precise right now, so I won't ramble on here. More is coming.

I did want to take the opportunity to praise God. I also want to applaud our spiritual family and the steps of a disciple of Jesus in our spiritual family named David. I got the following letter from him and asked permission to pass it on to you:

Today is my fifty-sixth birthday. I want to express my gratitude to the Lord for giving me another year to live. I also want to express my gratitude to you in the quest whose e-mail addresses I have.

Most if not all of you know I was a patient in a psychiatric hospital for years before I began living where I now live in Columbus. Reflecting on my life since then, I have to say that the single most important and significant and positive thing I have done in the almost five years since being released has been to stop and talk with Strat and Gena at thequest booth at Comfest in 2002 and out of that get involved with thequest and all of you. So much good has come from that I can't truly express it.

I am truly grateful to all of you in the quest for your involvement in my life.
I just wanted to share this with you. May our Lord continue to bless all of you.David
